Pretty good accurate analysis but the app navigation could be greatly improved.

I would like to give this 5 stars as it is a great concept and I like its design. BUT it does not include many habitats, and excludes upland/mountains/heathland/moorland. Please add these? Also, it can't identify quite a few birds, including owls. Including uncommon birds would be nice, and being able to select more than one habitat too. (For eg. coastal moorland/farmland.) UPDATE (25.3.22): No longer works at all. Surrounded by loud birdsong and zero birds identified.

Such a great thing - technology aiding understanding and engagement with nature. Works very well, I just took it to my local park and for the first time started to understand just how many different types of bird live there, and which song belongs to which. Absolute favourite - the tiny wren. Thank you birdup developer!

I could hear a blackbird warning from 30m away, the app came up with a crow so I thought I would give it another go, same result so I will now delete it

Very good

I have found this useful in the field but it needs to improve its data. It is particularly bad at distinguishing house sparrows from Goldfinches and yellow hammers. It is also all over the place when it hears a skylark. It comes up with about six different bird species but never a lark even when selecting for the appropriate habitat.

I want to know why your permissions want to access all my files. Seems to me a gross breach of privacy. Explain or be reported

Sadly the App has stopped working correctly, maybe it's not being managed by the developer anymore? Couldn't detect a Robin singing sat on as branch 4ft from me.
